Just read Will Richardson's book about web tools for the classroom. Interesting how he actually incorporated real life examples and not just the thoery behind it. In my opinion, more books need to be written this way. As an educator I am tired of hearing how a class should look, but am happy to now see how they CAN look.
I agree. I have more respect for a researcher/author who backs his/her theory with modeled practice, than one who simply poses a theory. By providing details on how a theory can be applied in the classroom, I trust he or she has spent time in the classroom - walking in my shoes.
